At Advanced Family Chiropractic we can perform Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) to help relax tight or spasming muscles.  We also have intersegmental traction tables that provide muscle relaxation by stretching out the muscles along the spine.

Both types of therapy increase the effectiveness of your chiropractic adjustment.  Your doctor will determine if either of these therapies will be beneficial to your care.  Your doctor may also show you some stretching or strengthening exercises to do at home if they are indicated for your condition.
